This multipurpose, less-is-more setup is a great option for pro and novice filmmakers alike and is ideal for things like skate videos, mobile productions, and shooting in unpredictable environments. Q & A My camera is too tall for the Halo. Is there a larger one? Check out the Bright Tangerine Halo Vertical Extension which will give you around two extra inches and attaches easily to the Halo. Does this include the extension set for the handle? This kit does not include the Bright Tangerine Master Handle Extension Set but it does include the Short Create NATO top handle. What is MAP M4 and is it the same as M4 threads? MAP M4, or MAP-4, threads have the same 4mm screw thread size as regular M4 but MAP M4 are designed for accessories using anti-twist locating pins for mounting and are spaced exactly 20mm apart. They are more common with ARRI systems. Can I use this for big cameras? You certainly can (up to a point). You just leave off the riser and you’re good to go for cameras up to around 6.5" tall. However, we recommend checking out the Halo Universal Advanced Kit which includes 9" rods instead of 4". This adds stability, especially if using long lenses.
